The hike to Ramona Falls in the Mt Hood National Forest Wilderness goes through some of the most lovely of Mt Hood's forests. One crosses the Sandy on a bridge which is placed in May and removed in October to prevent damage from winter floods and ice. The view of the west side of Mt Hood is always lovely from the bridge.
